The Needs of Salmon
- In the context for salmon described in The Farm on the Sea, discuss with students questions related to their survival needs such as: Where do these salmon live? Where do they find its food? How does a salmon breathe? Compare/contrast physical characteristics (e.g. legs, eyes, fur/feather/skin/scales, locomotion, etc.) of salmon to another animal/plant studied.
